    A deep dive into two foundational elements of tango: the walk and the turn. We’ll explore technique, rhythm, and transitions, aiming for fluid movement and shared musicality ($35 pre-registered/$40 at door)

    3:30pm-4:45pm Workshop #3: Revisiting the Cross Detail, Intention, and Variation The cross is one of the most iconic moments in tango — but it’s not just a single step. It’s a family of possibilities. In this class, we’ll explore different types of crosses and how both initiator and receiver contribute to their creation. We’ll work on timing, structure, and using the cross as a dynamic tool for improvisation. ($35 pre-registered/$40 at door)

    11:30am-12:45pm Workshop #4 Sacadas: Working with the space we create and the space we step into
    Sacadas involve more than displacement — they are about offering, entering, and respecting space. We’ll explore how initiators and receivers use timing, body organization, and spatial awareness to co-create dynamic and safe sacadas. ($35 pre-registered/$40 at door)

    1:00pm-2:00pm Drop In Lesson pre-practica: The Power of the Embrace, Presence, Listening, and Sensitivity
    The embrace is more than a frame — it’s a space of trust and subtle dialogue. This class focuses on listening through touch, pausing meaningfully, and creating a grounded, intimate connection.

    4:15pm-5:30pm Workshop #5: Linear Boleos, Pendulum Motion and Contraposition This class focuses on linear boleos through pendulum dynamics, body opposition, and the expressive motion of the free leg. Learn how to generate and receive boleos with clarity, fluidity, and deep connection. ($35 pre-registered/$40 at door)

  • Well respected by the tango community in Buenos Aires, Cecilia is an exceptional dancer who has worked with the most renowned Argentine dancers of her generation since 1995. She combines strong movements with wise softness getting, without effort, the most powerful synthesis. The technical precision, fluidity of her movements and notable capacity of improvisation characterize her dance. Cecilia shares her extensive knowledge and passion with her students. She is a very appreciated and requested tango teacher and has been continually invited to give workshops and participate in festivals around the world. Since its inception in 1999, she has been a member of the teaching faculty of the Argentine International Tango Congress (C.I.T.A) held annually in Buenos Aires.
